Dr Frohlich

Dr. Douglas L. Frohlich, Optometrist

“My personal passion for what I do lies in the possibility of improving the quality of life for my patients by maximizing their vision, and doing what I can to treat them as a whole person, including their overall health. I strive to do it so well, and so completely, that my patients want to come back to see me, and will also entrust me with the care of their friends and family by referring them to my practice.”

Trained in the latest advances in eye care, Dr. Frohlich helps Professional Eyecare Centers bring a level of vision care and eye health services to Jamestown, Valley City, and Carrington areas that no one else can provide.

Graduated from the University of North Dakota in 1998

Graduated Cum Laude from the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago in 2002

Completed externships at the Veterans Administration Hospital associated with Case Western University in Cleveland, OH, and the Wolfe Eye Clinics in Iowa

Continuing education in pink eye elimination, glaucoma, macular degeneration, laser vision correction, and contact lens fit and comfort technology.

Dr. Frohlich knows that community pride runs deeper than just his practice of optometric services. He is an active member of several civic organizations to raise the level of community betterment in central North Dakota.

Dr. Frohlich has 2 children, Claire and Liv, and is married to Sarah

Dr. Kent S. Fronk, Optometrist

Dr. Kent Fronk is an Optometrist at Professional Eyecare Centers located in Jamestown, ND along with services also offered in Carrington and Valley City.

Dr. Fronk is a North Dakota native born and raised in Harvey, ND. After completing high school he attended the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks, majoring in Math and Chemistry until 1982. He then furthered his education at Pacific University College of Optometry in Forest Grove, Oregon, graduating in 1986.

Dr. Fronk is licensed to treat eye injuries and diseases as well as prescribing pharmaceutical agents and controlled substances. Dr. Fronk is very experienced at co-managing surgical patients from Cataracts to LASIK refractive surgery. He is certified in Corneal Refractive Therapy (CRT). He is a member of the North Dakota Optometric Association (NDOA) and the American Optometric Association (AOA). He strives in providing excellent one on one patient care with the latest technology that Professional Eyecare Centers has to offer. His special interests include fitting contact lenses and treating glaucoma.

Dr. Fronk has 2 children, Max and Benet. In addition to enjoying as much time as possible with his children; his hobbies include golf, hunting, exercising and going to his lake cabin. He is a member of St. James Basilica, Jamestown Optimist Club, Jamestown Elks and Jamestown Shriners organization.

Dr. Jordan Jangula, Optometrist

“My goal is to care for and treat every patient, co-worker, and person as my brother or sister in Christ.”

Dr. Jangula grew up on a farm just outside of Edgeley, ND, and was a patient of Professional Eyecare Centers until he left for optometry school in 2010. After high school, he attended the University of Jamestown and earned a B.S. in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. While at UJ he worked as an optician for Professional Eyecare Centers.

Following undergraduate studies, he earned his Doctorate of Optometry from Pacific University College of Optometry in Forest Grove, Oregon. Dr. Jangula then began his professional career with Eyecare Associates in Fargo, ND, where he practiced for 7 years. Recently, Dr. Jangula and his family moved back to the area, and he is excited to be part of the Professional Eyecare Centers team.

Besides providing high quality full exams and managing all ocular disease, Dr. Jangula has a special interest in dry eye disease, refractive surgery, and contact lenses. It is his goal to find the cause of a patient’s dry eye and treat the cause so that the patient can be successful with glasses, contacts, refractive surgery, or require no correction at all.

Dr. Jangula and his wife, Erin, who is originally from Lamoure, ND, live in Edgeley with their four children—Miles, Reece, Tessa, and Liza. They are active members of Transfiguration Catholic Church and are excited to get more involved in their local community. Dr. Jangula’s hobbies include playing with his kids, spending time with friends, reading, and watching or playing sports.

Dr. Briana Bohn, Optometrist

Dr. Briana Bohn grew up in Hazelton, ND. She graduated from Minnesota State University-Moorhead with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology. She then received her Doctor of Optometry degree from Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago, IL. She began her career with Dakota Eye Institute before joining Lifetime Vision 20/20 in Jamestown in 2017. Dr. Bohn is excited to join the Professional Eyecare Centers team and continue to serve the wonderful people of Jamestown, Carrington, and Valley City.

Dr. Bohn is passionate about not only caring for the eye health of her patients but also getting to know them and their families. Having worn glasses and contacts a majority of her life, she appreciates how vision affects all areas of a person’s daily activities and strives to give her patients the highest quality of care. Dr. Bohn has special interests in vision therapy, myopia control, pediatrics, and contact lenses.

Dr. Bohn resides in Jamestown, ND with her husband and their two children. Her interests outside of the office include spending time with family and friends, volunteering at her church, baking, reading and gardening.

She is also a member of the local Optimist club and current President of Young Professionals of Jamestown club.
